Same City!

7 months ago, Lance gave me this card. It was after I received and accepted my job offer in Dallas.  It was a tough choice, but I had to take the job. I had been living in Houston for 5 months, jobless. He wrote me a sweet message that I cannot read out loud without tearing up. It brings back so many emotions that remind me of all the distance we have been through.
I honestly believed when I moved to Houston after I graduated from nursing school, that I would never have to be away from this man for the rest of my life.

We spent the first year and a half of our relationship seeing each other once a month. I flew to Houston or he drove to Dallas. It was rough, but we did it. I moved to Houston in hopes of getting a job there after graduation and it never happened.

I am so happy to say that after almost 2 and half years, we are now living in the same city that we met.
We, with the help of his parents, moved all of our stuff back up to the DFW last weekend. He is here for good, and I could not be happier.

Here he is ringing the bell after his last law school final last Thursday night.

We are heading back to Houston tomorrow for his graduation that will be held on Saturday. I could not be more proud of this man. He has worked so hard.
